NEW TO OUR SHOP -we’re now selling a large batch of seeds from our own Salvia spathacea i.e. the hummingbird sage; native to central California, S. spathacea is radiant and sticky. It’s unusual magenta blooms are spellbinding.
September is the perfect time to sow the seeds of these shade-loving perennials. Once mature, their dried leaves + flowers can be used medicinally -as a decongestant; soothing sore throats, and can also be made into a beneficial stomach tonic.
